What this site is

Counter101 is a set of free counting tools: a click counter and tally counter, score keepers and scoreboards, counters for knitting, sport and prayer beads, and an attendance counter for doors and venues. Each page is one working tool with a short guide under it. You can see them all on the All counters page.

How the tools work

• No sign-up, ever. There are no accounts. Open a page and start counting.
• Your counts stay on your device. Every tool saves to your browser's own storage after each change, so a refresh or a closed tab loses nothing. Nothing you count is sent to us or anyone else. Analytics runs only if you accept it; see the privacy page.
• Works offline. After a page has loaded once, it keeps working without a connection, and you can install the site as an app from Chrome or Edge, or add it to your iPhone home screen from the Share menu.
• Undo everywhere. Every tool can take back a mistake, including a reset.

Rules and accuracy

Where a tool follows the rules of a sport or game, it uses the standard rules and makes anything that varies by league or group a setting you can change. The life counter is an unofficial tool for card games such as Magic: The Gathering and is not affiliated with or endorsed by Wizards of the Coast. The prayer counters count the phrases and prayers you choose; they make no claims about religious practice.
