How to use the spades score sheet
Name the two teams at the top. Before play, pick each player's bid from the list: a number from 1 to 13, Nil, or Blind nil. After the last trick, pick how many tricks each player won. Each team card shows what the hand is worth as soon as everything is filled in, and the line above the button checks that the tricks add up to 13.
Press Score this hand. The table gets a new row with the bid and tricks of every player, the totals move, and the bag count under each team goes up. Undo takes back any change. Playing cutthroat instead? Pick 2 to 4 players, each for themselves in Settings. Print blank sheet gives you a paper spades score sheet with columns for bid, tricks, score, bags and total, and Print sheet prints the game so far. Share link puts the whole game in a link for the other table.
Spades scoring on this sheet
- A team that wins at least as many tricks as its combined bid scores 10 points per trick bid, plus 1 point for every extra trick. Extra tricks are called bags.
- A team that wins fewer tricks than it bid loses 10 points per trick bid.
- Nil: 100 points when the nil bidder wins no trick, minus 100 when they win any. Blind nil, bid before looking at the cards, doubles that to 200. The partner's own bid is scored as usual.
- When a nil fails, the tricks the nil bidder won do not help the partner make their bid; they count as bags for the team. Some tables let them count toward the partner's bid instead, which is a setting.
- Bag penalty: every time a team collects 10 bags over the game, it loses 100 points and its bag count drops by 10.
- The first team to reach 500 at the end of a hand wins; if both pass it, the higher total wins.
House rules differ a lot in spades, so the game target, the bag limit and penalty, the nil value, blind nil and an optional losing score (such as minus 200) are all in Settings. For other trick games there is a euchre score keeper and an oh hell score sheet.

Questions
What are bags in spades?
Bags are the tricks a team wins beyond its bid. Each one adds a point, but collecting too many costs you: with the default rule, every 10 bags take 100 points off the team's score. The sheet keeps the running bag count on each team card.
How does a nil bid score?
A player who bids nil tries to win no tricks at all. If they manage it their team gets 100 points; if they win even one trick the team loses 100. Their partner's bid is scored on its own.
Why will it not score my hand?
Every bid and every trick count must be picked, and the tricks must add up to 13 (or the number set in Settings). The message under the cards tells you what is missing.
Can three people use this spades score keeper?
Yes. In Settings choose 2 to 4 players, each for themselves, then add a third player. Each player bids and scores alone with the same rules. Set the tricks per hand to match how many cards you deal.
