How to use the rummy score keeper
Pick your scoring style in Settings, then add players with + Add player. At the end of a hand, tap Went out on the player who went out and type the points each other player was caught with. Press Score this hand. In 500 rummy every player enters two numbers instead: the points they melded and the points left in their hand.
The table keeps every hand with a mark on the player who went out, and the totals sit at the bottom. When someone reaches the target the keeper names the winner. The Card points helper under the tool adds up a hand as you tap each card. Print a blank rummy score sheet for the table, or print the filled one when the game is over. For canasta, use the canasta score sheet, which knows canasta's bonuses.
For the partnership version with canastas and red threes, use the canasta score sheet; for dice, the farkle score keeper.
Scoring styles and targets
Rummy has many variants and house rules vary, so the style and the target are settings.
- Penalty points, lowest wins (default): each player who did not go out adds the points in their hand to their own total. When anyone reaches the target (100 by default) the game ends and the lowest total wins.
- Winner scores the others' cards, highest wins: the player who went out scores the points left in everyone else's hand.
- 500 rummy: every player scores the cards they melded minus the cards left in their hand. The target changes to 500, and the highest total wins.
The card helper uses a common convention: ace 1 (or 15, as a setting), face cards 10, number cards their face value. Check it against the rules your group plays.

Questions
Which rummy does this fit?
Any rummy game scored hand by hand with points left in hand, such as basic rummy or 500 rummy. If your group doubles a score or plays a different target, change the target in Settings and type the doubled points yourself.
Can I change the target after starting?
Yes. Changing the target in Settings keeps every hand; the keeper checks the totals against the new target straight away.
What does Went out do?
It marks who ended the hand. In the penalty style that player scores nothing for the hand; when the winner scores the others' cards, the points go to them.
How do I keep the sheet on paper?
Print blank sheet gives 20 empty hands with a column per player, and Print sheet prints each hand with the running total. Download CSV opens in any spreadsheet.
