How to use the mouse click counter
Click inside the big box. The large number is the total, and the three tiles under it split it into left click, middle click (pressing the scroll wheel) and right click. The right-click menu and the middle-click scroll mode are switched off inside the box, so every click simply counts. With No limit picked the totals are saved in your browser as you go.
Pick a length from 1 to 100 seconds for a timed test instead: it starts on your first click, counts every button, and gives your clicks per second with the split per button. The best score for each length is kept, and Download CSV saves your tests and the running totals.
Checking a mouse button
Each button is counted on its own, the moment it goes down, so the tiles show exactly which buttons the computer received. That makes the counter handy for a quick look at a mouse: press one button a set number of times, say 20, and see whether the tile shows 20. A higher number means the computer saw extra clicks you did not make, and a lower one means some presses were missed.
Only presses inside the box count. The counter cannot tell whether an extra click came from the mouse, its cable or wireless link, or a setting on the computer, so treat the result as a hint, not a verdict. Touch screens count every tap as a left click. For a pure speed test with the left button, the CPS test keeps its own scores, and the click counter is the simple tap counter for counting people or things.

Questions
Does it count right clicks without opening the menu?
Yes. Inside the box the right-click menu is turned off, and each right click is added to its own tile.
What is a middle click?
Pressing down on the scroll wheel, or the middle button on a three-button mouse. The counter records it on the middle tile and stops the browser from starting its scroll mode.
Can I undo a click?
Yes. Press U, Ctrl+Z or the Undo button to take back clicks one at a time, or to bring back totals after a reset.
Are the totals saved?
Yes, in your browser, after every click. Nothing is sent anywhere. Share link puts the totals and your best test scores in a link you can send.
