How to use the pool score keeper
For 8-ball or 9-ball, tap the big number of the player who won the rack, or press Rack won. If the breaker ran the rack out, press Break and run under that player instead. The Breaks tag moves to the next breaker, and the match ends when a player reaches their race. Use + next to Innings this rack if your league records innings; the match total sits beside it.
For straight pool, choose Straight pool (14.1) in Settings. Press +1 ball for every ball the player at the table pockets, then End inning on a miss or safety, or Foul −1 on a foul. The score, current run, high run and innings update as you go. Open display window gives a big board for the room, Print sheet prints the match, and Share link sends it on. At the same bar, the shuffleboard score keeper is ready too.
Between racks, the darts scorer and the shuffleboard score keeper keep score for the other games in the room.
Match formats and settings
8-ball and 9-ball matches are races: the first player to win the set number of racks wins the match. The race is 5 by default, and each player can have their own race for handicapped league play, for example 5 against 3. Whether the break alternates or the winner of the last rack breaks depends on the event, so it is a setting (alternate by default); you can also change the breaker by hand. A break and run means the breaker won the rack before the opponent came to the table.
Straight pool scores one point for each ball legally pocketed and is played to a target set before the match, 100 here by default (each player can have their own). A foul costs 1 point, so a score can drop below zero. Rules also add a penalty for three fouls in a row: turn on the option and a third consecutive foul costs an extra 15 points. Pocketing a ball or making a legal shot resets the count. The game ends the moment a player reaches the target, and the scoreboard closes that inning for you. This billiards scoreboard does not cover snooker.

- B: break and run for the breaker, I: one more inning (Shift+I one less)
- Straight pool: Space or ↑ one ball, ↓ take one off, E end inning, X foul
- S: swap sides, U or Ctrl+Z: undo, F: full screen
Questions
What does race to 5 mean in pool?
The first player to win 5 racks wins the match. Change the number in Settings, and give each player a different number for a handicap.
How are innings counted?
Leagues count innings differently, so the score keeper does not guess: tap + each time your league's rules say an inning has passed. In straight pool every turn at the table is counted for that player automatically.
Can a straight pool score be negative?
Yes. Each foul takes a point off, so a player who fouls before pocketing anything goes below zero.
Can I keep score for a league night on one phone?
Yes. Everything is saved in your browser as you go. Print or download the match as a CSV when it ends, then press New match for the next one.
