How to use the euchre score keeper
Type the two team names. After each hand, tap the team that called trump (the makers), tap the number of tricks the makers won, and tap Maker went alone if one player played the hand alone. The line beside the button shows the points before you commit them. Press Score this hand and the points go to the right team.
The table lists every hand with who called and how many tricks they took, so an argument about the score is settled in seconds. Undo steps back as far as you need. Print blank sheet makes a paper euchre score sheet for the card table, and the chart shows how the lead changed hands. If you also play spades, the spades score sheet works the same way.
Euchre scoring
This sheet uses the common North American scoring:
- Makers win 3 or 4 tricks: 1 point.
- Makers win all 5 tricks (a march): 2 points.
- A maker who went alone and won all 5 tricks: 4 points. Alone with 3 or 4 tricks still scores 1.
- Makers win fewer than 3 tricks (euchred): the defenders score 2 points.
- The first team to 10 points wins.
Some groups let a defender play alone too, and give 4 points when that lone defender euchres the makers. Turn it on in Settings and a Defender went alone button appears. The target score is also a setting, for tables that play to 11 or another number.

Questions
How many points is a euchre?
When the team that called trump wins fewer than 3 tricks, it is euchred and the other team scores 2 points. With the lone defender setting on, a defender who played alone and euchred the makers scores 4.
What does going alone score?
A player who goes alone and wins all 5 tricks scores 4 points for the team. If they win 3 or 4 tricks the team scores 1, the same as a normal hand.
Can I use it as a euchre score sheet on paper?
Yes. Press Print blank sheet for an empty sheet with a row for each hand, or Print sheet for the current game with every hand filled in.
Is my game saved?
Every hand is saved in this browser as soon as you score it, so closing the tab or refreshing keeps the game. Nothing is sent anywhere.
