How to use the pinochle score sheet
Name the two partnerships (or pick 3 players in Settings). When the auction ends, tap Won the bid on the side that took it and type the winning bid. Enter each side's meld once it is laid down. After the play, type the trick points each side took. Every card shows what the hand will score, and the line above the button checks that the trick points add up to 250.
Press Score this hand. The table shows who bid and how much, with every side's result and running total. Undo works for everything. Print blank sheet gives you a paper pinochle score sheet with meld, tricks and total columns for each side. There is a canasta score sheet and a rummy score keeper for melding games too.
Pinochle scoring on this sheet
- The bidding side adds its meld and trick points. If that reaches the bid, the side scores the whole amount. If not, it goes set: it scores nothing for the hand and loses the amount it bid.
- The other side scores its meld plus its trick points, but a side that wins no trick points at all loses its meld for that hand (a setting).
- Trick points: with a single deck there are 250 in a hand, counting 10 for the last trick. Change the number in Settings if you count differently, or set it to 0 to switch the check off.
- Game: 1,500. If both sides pass it in the same hand, the bidding side wins (a setting).
Pinochle is played with many local rules for bidding, meld values and counters. The sheet does not value the meld for you: add it up with your own meld table and type the total. A minimum bid can be set in Settings if your table uses one.

Questions
What does going set mean in pinochle?
The side that won the bid must take at least that many points from meld and tricks together. If it falls short it is set: its meld and tricks count for nothing and the bid is taken off its score, which can go below zero.
Why is my meld not counted?
With the default setting, a side that did not bid and won no trick points does not keep its meld for that hand. Turn off the setting if your table plays differently.
Does it calculate meld for me?
No. Meld values differ from table to table, so you add your meld up and type the total for each side. The sheet does the rest.
Can I use it for three-handed pinochle?
Yes. Choose 3 players in Settings. Each player bids and scores alone with the same made or set rule.
